Brief presentation of the institution

The research of physics, chemistry and applications of plasmas in The Netherlands is situated for the biggest part in Eindhoven, where Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) houses most of the involved scientists and facilities. The studies include both theoretical and experimental aspects of research of a broad range of plasmas with exception of only astrophysical plasmas. The University cluster "Plasmas and Radiation Technology" counts 4 internationally recognized groups and has the total of 135 employees, with partners in electrical and chemical engineering.

The EPG group at TU/e has several laboratories equipped for research on plasmas in liquids, as well as the scientific and technical staff with expertise in high voltage, atmospheric pressure and transient plasmas.
